infected computer will not run superantispyware

i have a computer that has a trojan virus. it cannot access the internet. when i try to run the superantispyware free edition on it i get superantispyware free edition has encountered a problem and needs to close and tell microsoft about it.

any suggestions?

From the Windows start menu, try running SuperAntiSpyware Alternate Start and doing a SAS repair, or boot into Windows safe mode and run SAS.

Boot into safe mode by pressing F8 during bootup. I've had success running "Safe with networking."

Trend Micro RootkitBuster Beta helps find the problems, but not the source ...so far.

I'm hoping SAS will.
