edwood Posted September 30, 2009 When SAS ver. 4.29.1002 does a scan of my computer, it asks for a CD to be placed in my cd drive. I have tried to find a place in the setup to disable this request, but cannot find out how to do so. I have my SAS scan set to take place at around 3AM, & when I get up the next morning, SAS has not scanned my computer, but is waiting for the CD to be placed in the cd drive. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you stop SAS from asking for the cd? Thanks, Ed
siliconman01 Posted September 30, 2009 1. Open SAS to the main window 2. Click on Scan your Computer button. The SuperAntiSpyware Scanner window will open. 3. Under Scan Location, uncheck any drives that you do not want scanned. 4. Bullet Perform Complete Scan 5. Click on Next located on the bottom right of the window to start the scan. Does the scan run to completion without asking for the CD to be loaded?

It asks for a disk to be placed in drive F, before it will complete the scan. Any suggestions short of uninstalling SuperAntispyware Pro and reinstalling it? siliconman01 Posted October 1, 2009 Nothing else pops to mind. I suggest that you download SASUNINST.EXE, save it on your desktop, and then run it to fully uninstall SAS and reboot. Then re-install. https://www.superantispyware.com/downloads/SASUNINST.EXE Before your re-install, remove any CD/DVDs that are in your drives.
