Error 1321. Anyone heard of this?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. I have had superantispyware for a few years now. The last couple of weeks have been strange. I went to access it to run a scan and a windows message came up stating that it cannot access the specified file because I don't have appropiate permissions to access the file. Sometimes rebooting seemed to temporarily fix the problem, but now it doesn't. Today I completely uninstalled and went to reinstall and am getting this error message: "Error 1321. Windows Installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file." What kind of bug do I have? My Anti-Virus is Avira Premium and it keeps blocking the Malware HEUR/HTML every time I go to my e-mails. I am at a loss. Help if you can.

UPDATE: I just ran Norman Malware cleaner and it detected W32/Renos.XUC. How can I get rid of this? I know its location.

Same thing happened to a buddy pc. I will not let you do a sys restore also but it makes the program work until it just shuts off. Same thing happens when using malwarebytes and spybot. might work 1 time then a virus disables it somehow. Seems like it messes with alot of permissions also.
