Is this normal?

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

A fairly simple question but one that tackles quite a frustrating problem: My family PC has 5 user profiles on it and I have to update SUPERAntiSpyware on every profile; is this normal?

Thanks in advance,

Hi, I have recently cleaned up a few systems with multiple user accounts and have found that you do have to update the definitions on each particular user. This is because the definitions are saved within the current user profile when you update and not in program files'. On a Vista machine i'm finding the definitions in:

C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SUPERAntiSpyware.com\SUPERAntiSpyware

which then feeds the program when you run your check.

To be honest i'm hoping someone can clear this one up as it's not particularly a question I can give a 100% response to...

Regards
