greengrocer Posted August 7, 2009 Recent Problem I can start Windows ok and get as far as the 'folders' screen. When I try to open a folder Windows states there is a problem and must shut down. This can happen several times immediately after each other. Belatedly the SAS splash screen appears and disappears. This problem occurs regardless of how long the computer has been switched on and left on the Desktop screen. The strange thing is that if I switch off the 'Start SAS when Windows starts' preference then the problem does not occur. My A/V and A/Spy versions are uptodate and I have done a full scan with all the programs. But the problem is still there unless the preference is switched off. Can anybody help me. And is it safe to leave that preference off.
nighthawkext Posted August 7, 2009 It is safe to leave that preference off, but I would like to figure out what is causing your problem. What version of SUPERAntiSpyware are you running?
