possible false positive.

Recommended Posts

Win XP Pro SP3 fully patched. SAS Free Edition 4.26.1002 with Core 3872 and Trace 1820

SAS flagging C:\Windows\JESTERTB.DLL as Adware.SeekSuggest. Have sumitted to Virus Total and come back clean 0/40. Used the 'report false positive function' of SAS but no idea if it did indeed 'report'.

Include log of scan etc.

Perfect! I checked in with our dev team, and they've confirmed that your submission is a false positive. It's safe to trust/allow, and it shouldn't be detected by future definition releases.

Many thanks for your swift reply. I shall now restore the file to its original location. 8)

Cheers,
