SUPERAntiSpy Posted April 26, 2009 I always thought that the reason for the startup entry on the free version of Sas is to insure that program updates will be done by users. Will "check for update" selection within the main window also do program updates as well as definition updates? The startup entry is there so that SUPERAntiSpyware is running if you get infected. Many infections block anti-spyware programs from running. Check for definition updates in the main window only checks for definitions.
