Phantom spyware detected by SAS

Recommended Posts

I scan with SAS weekly. About a month ago, it detected something called Virus Remover. It asked me to reboot to remove it. But each subsequent scan detects the same thing. Below is today's log. It's not affecting my system at all so either SAS isn't removing it or it's a phantom detection. I suspect the latter. I also scan with Malware Bytes and it detected something else and got rid of it but it's not detecting this. I also use CCleaner to automatically detect and delete temp files so it should get rid of this anyway. I don't believe Virus Remover is on my system anymore so how do I go about getting SAS to not detect something that isn't there anymore? Would uninstalling and reinstalling help?
