audiodrome Posted February 21, 2009 Are these files anything to worry about? There haven't been any trojan warning pop-ups on my computer to raise any alarms lately but just tonight I was running a Superantispyware regular maintenance scan and this showed up in the first log: Trojan.Agent/Gen-FSG C:\MY DOWNLOADS\MAGIC DVD COPIER\KEYGEN\KEYGEN.EXE I quarantined it, ran another scan and then THIS showed up: Trojan.Dropper/Gen-FSG C:\RECYCLER\NPROTECT\00001127.EXE I quarantined that file, ran another scan and now everything is clean. What exactly are these files and where could they have come from if they weren't detected by any of my antivirus/antispyware software?

Ryankulit Posted February 28, 2009 I am getting this pop up on the right lower bottom of my screen while super anti spyware is runningto stop running as there is a current download. I jus ignored it and continued scanning. It never happened before. Could this be a Trojan pretending to be super anti spyware because right after my scan I have tried to update but it said definition are up to date..Why does it interrupt a scan?? It's probably that your 8-hour update check time happened to occur during the scan. I assume that you have "Automatically check for program and definition updates every 8 hours (recommended)" bulleted under Preferences>Update tab. The alert was most likely telling you that V4.25.1014 is available for download/installation. IF you have not already received this new version, just right click on the SAS icon in the notification tray and select "Check for Updates".
