drekky Posted February 20, 2009 First of all, I wanted to say that I think that your program is great....and I am pretty upset that I am having such problems... It was scanning ok for a while then started to go to the blue screen when I was scanning... so I uninstalled it and removed all the Settings folders and re-installed when the program was finished installing, before I could hit [Finish], it went to the Blue Screen of death again.. So, I uninstalled and removed all your system files..and re-downloaded it... same result... I haven't written down which error code the BLue Screen of Death was, but I will. Have you encountered this before? I am running XP-SP2 on a good machine. It is virus/adware/etc.. free D
Seth Posted February 20, 2009 Hi Drekky. Yes, the actual error code would help. Here a couple of things you can try: 1) Try running the scan from Safe Mode. This will help determine if an alternate program is affecting the scan. 2) Run hard drive error correction: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265
