Is SUPERAntiSpyware Professional considered...

No, it does not have a virus scanner engine. It is a spyware/adware/malware program and is safe to run in conjunction with your anti-virus programs such as Norton, NOD32, Avira, Avast, Kaspersky, etc.

Please explain to me then why they make these claims: Detect and Remove Spyware, Adware, Spyware, Adware, Malware, Trojans, Dialers, Worms, KeyLoggers, HiJackers, Parasites, Rootkits and many other types of threats.

Because we do remove those and those are not examples of a true virus; the line of demarcation between various types of malware is not clear cut and Antivirus (AV) programs get some spyware and Antispyware programs get some virus malware but we always recommend running an AV . Hope that clears it up for you :)
