I can only start in the safe mode?

Recommended Posts

I was being infected by the trojan.vundo and other variations. I'm running Windows XP. I just puchased SAS and ran it. I had to run in the safe mode first and it destroyed some of the virus. Then it told me to reboot to get rid of them for good. I tried to reboot a few times and finally it worked in the regular mode (not safe). I wanted to do this so I could download the latest updates for SAS as you can't do that in the safe mode because you can't access the internet. I did download the latest updates for SAS and ran SAS again in the safe mode. It found some more trojan and told me to reboot. After many, many reboot attempts I am only able to reboot in the safe mode. If I try to to do reboot in the regular mode I just get black screen. Please help.
