marcryptic Posted December 14, 2008 Hi, I've been trying every way I know how to get rid of these 2 files that just won't go away. In safe mode, I used SAS, MalwareBytes, SDfix, Dr. Web, and AVG 8.0...any other suggestions or ideas on how dangerous this might be? Here is my SAS log: SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log https://www.superantispyware.com Generated 12/13/2008 at 06:20 PM Application Version : 4.23.1006 Core Rules Database Version : 3640 Trace Rules Database Version: 1623 Scan type : Quick Scan Total Scan Time : 00:04:37 Memory items scanned : 161 Memory threats detected : 0 Registry items scanned : 421 Registry threats detected : 2 File items scanned : 683 File threats detected : 0 Unclassified.Unknown Origin HKCR\CLSID\{6D794CB4-C7CD-4C6F-BFDC-9B77AFBDC02C} HKCR\CLSID\{6D794CB4-C7CD-4C6F-BFDC-9B77AFBDC02C}\InprocServer32 Thank you, any help is appreciated. Lagerx Posted December 14, 2008 Hello Try scanning in safe mode. They might be not dangerous if there is no file with them. Like virus.exe in desktop which uses these registry entries.
marcryptic Posted December 15, 2008 Thanks, I did scan in safe mode and this still comes up every time. Hopefully you're right and it's not too dangerous, just kind of annoying.
marcryptic Posted December 15, 2008 One other thing, I'm not positive it's a BHO...that's just how it was classified when I clicked for more information.
h2eau Posted December 15, 2008 Try Advanced System Care. Check for updates and use all of it's tools. Stay connected to the internet. The feed back should flag it and have an option to remove it. http://www.iobit.com/ http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscar ... r=download
