Question - Is there a setting so I don't have to reboot

Recommended Posts

Hi. I have a question.

Is there a setting I forgot to set so that I don't have to reboot every time when using SAS Pro when I run it and it finds malware and I have it quarantined (?) and then I get a pop up window that says I have to reboot my system for it to complete the action?

Just asking. Thanks. :D

Can you tell us, what detection you see every time when you need to reboot.

Is it same all the time?

Hi. Yes it's when I do a scan, whether quick or complete scan and it finds malware, then when I click next it quarantines them. The malware are like typical low rated ad-ware stuff (guessing, not an expert), but SAS Pro like the SAS free edition ask me to choose to reboot my computer now or later.

So I was wondering is that normal way that SAS Pro or Free works, that each time I have to reboot? Just wondering if I missed a setting or something in SAS Pro that would quarantine what it found without me having to reboot my computer each time.

Yes, it's the same SAS Pro message I get, but its different malware that it finds. Usually around 10 or 12 it finds.

Hi. Sorry for delay. I work alot. Here is the scan log requested. I can't seem to upload as an attachment. So here it is:

When I click next, SAS Pro would quarantine these and a pop up window would then say I need to reboot in order to completely remove them from my computer. Is there a settings that I did not do so that I don't have to reboot when it gets these cookies? Or is that the normal/typical that I need to reboot.

Also I noticed that when I do reboot, and the computer restarts after I log back in, I lose my wireless network connection and I have to do several times right click, and click "repair" on the wireless icon in the system tray in order to reconnect my wireless connection for this computer. Is that another setting I am missing in the preference settings? Just asking.

Thank you for your help and assistance.
