Lena Posted September 10, 2008 I have two computers, both running Windows XP Home Edition (SP3) and SAS 4.21.1004 Free edition (with all the same settings). SAS is not set to start with Windows, no icon in system tray, does not scan at start up. Computer 1: As soon as SAS is opened, it checks for definition updates and downloads them. Computer 2: The updates must be obtained manually. I can't find what might be causing them to behave differently. All of the settings are identical, and all of the installation options were the same. Thanks in advance.
