duffyfs Posted October 14, 2006 I find that I'm able to run scans from the taskbar icon, but if I double click the shortcut on the desktop or try to launch from the start menu the program does not run. I looked through the faqs and this forum before posting without seeing this issue. Is this a bug, or did I somehow mess up the install?

If you have the option "Show SUPERAntiSpyware Icon in the System Tray" checked, then when you run the product from the desktop or start menu, it will start the product and go to the tray - if you want to run it direct from the desktop or start menu - uncheck that option in the General and Startup Preferences and you should be all set. duffyfs Posted October 14, 2006 Thanks for the reply. I wanted to be able to run the program from safe mode along with ATF Cleaner and in doing that I wouldn't have had access to the taskbar.

You can run SUPERAntiSpyware in safe mode no problem - just navigate to the folder in Program Files and run it from there. Our new 3.3. version uses non-Windows Installer short cuts that will work directly in safe mode.
