subpar99 Posted June 26, 2008 Every morning I run a scheduled Quick Scan with SAS 4.15.1000. The scan never finishes. It looks to be hanging on a .pf file in the WINDOWS\Prefetch folder every time. Is this a known issue? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AdvancedSetup Posted June 30, 2008 Possibly try running CHKDSK on the system From an MSDOS prompt CHKDSK C: /F It should run a disk check on reboot, if it does not then you might need to temporarily disable you AV and reboot again as Symantec is known to prevent disk check at times.
