Guest Posted June 7, 2008 When performing a manual scan, I sometimes hook-up a drive from another system. When I deselect drive C, it still scans drive C. It seems to ignore the command.
AdvancedSetup Posted June 7, 2008 Because it still needs to scan all active sections of memory, windows locations, etc as the action alone of connecting another drive could potentially infect the system you're using. The basic scan should be pretty quick and then move on to the drive you've selected.
