dellyfry Posted September 23, 2006 Hi, I could not find anywhere on the web site on how to submit malware samples but located this information on various message boards contained elsewhere on the net. I would like to see the ability to submit a file via a web interface (at superantispyware.com) and within the program, in the latter case the ability to submit a file and a memory process. The ability to do it from the program would also allow someone to submit a false positive report as well. Just some thoughts...

I am actually just finishing up a web interface to submit samples. The next version of our software will have that ability also - our current release does have a "False Positve" submit ability already

fatdcuk Posted September 24, 2006 Hey Nick i was thinking that maybe a stickie at the top of this forum https://forums.superantispyware.com/viewforum.php?f=5 Detailing submissions avenue would be a good idea or even some kinda of forum bases upload system such as the BBR malware archives. Ask santa if he can get web based file checker of the SAS data base ala Kaspersky>>> http://usa.kaspersky.com/services/free- ... canner.php Or maybe get your heads together with some of your competing vendors and provide the spyware equivilant to the Jotti/VirusTotal service http://virusscan.jotti.org/ http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html HTH Ade

Any ETA? It's much more convenient than having to pull up your email, compress the sample, compose the email.... MBAM's is simple but effective: http://uploads.malwarebytes.org/ I'd also like to see an optional spot for email and comments.

Most of our submissions come through our FileResearchCenter.com site. http://www.fileresearchcenter.com/submitfile.html I can create something like that directly on SAS if you like. EliteKiller Posted April 29, 2008 That's perfect, but until now I didn't know that it existed. Even if you just stuck a link on SAS.com (maybe under Support?) and/or created a thread in the the FAQ forum that would be splendid. In any event thanks for all that you do.
