DGB Posted March 21, 2008 Hi Everyone I now have SuperAntiSpyware loaded on my machine and on running Startup Mechanic it recommends that I disable SuperAntiSpyware from the startup list, giving this explanation "BPS spyware remover-reportedly uses an old "borrowed" Spybot database. Do not use these guys". Has anyone got any thoughts on this and should I disable?

They should not be detecting us like that - that is a false positive on their behalf, have you contacted Startup Mechanic?
DGB Posted March 21, 2008 Hello SUPERAntispy I am thinking of ditching startup mechanic, if I can find a suitable replacement. It identifies your programme as harmful and recommends that it should be disabled. Startup Mechanic does not have a users forum like yourselves so I will try and find an Email address to send my comments/complaint to. Thanks for your reply Best regards Dave
