Thailand_for_YOU Posted March 5, 2008 I was not aware that the update to v4 will occur without uninstalling the previous version. So, I uninstalled SAS first, and then have a problem to install the v4.0.1154. The solution that solved my problem was: install the old version 3.8.1002 (from http://www.filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/) and it will automatically update itself to the latest version. Hope that this info will help others.
Pandato Posted March 5, 2008 Glad that worked for you. Odd that they had such an old version as 3.9.1008 was the last version released last June. Thanks for sharing . Not sure why you had the problem.
Thailand_for_YOU Posted March 5, 2008 Not sure why you had the problem. During the installation of the new version. it asked me (insisted) to uninstall the previous installation (pointing to the network drive for some .msi file). It was the closed circle - can't be resolved in any other way. BTW, thinking of this now, it seems that there is still a problem of uninstalling the software. Have some one tried uninstalling it?
