Anthony A Posted September 8, 2006 I have read a few threads on some security forums about error 1606 when installing SAS. Apparently has something to do with Windows Installer. My question is, is it a pain to remove this program (SAS) if you decide to uninstall it? Do you need to do anything beyond using add/remove programs from the control panel? Hello - the 1606 error is actually a Microsoft error. Here is a KB (Knowledge Base) article from the Microsoft site: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/886549/ SUPERAntiSpyware features full uninstallation from the Control Panel Add/Remove programs, just as you would uninstall any Windows application.
