  1. When I scan my drives SAS keeps on detecting something called rogue.ieantivirus but there's nothing like that in the folder it says its in. Actually there's only 1 folder in that folder and this thing isn't there. I've scanned several times. It keeps on saying its going to clean it out, and needs to restart which it does, and on the next scan there it is again. Anybody else experiencing this? Other AV scans don't detect this mysterious file. My computer has been acting very strange not resolving DNS addresses among other things. Something may be blocking C:\Windows\explorer.exe as it doesn't start when the computer starts. I have to start it using Task Manager, File, Open then things look normal.
  2. Hi, According to virustotal your antivirus detects part of our software as trojan. Could you please add it to harmless files list? Best regards, Ivan PCadB2AConverter.exe
  3. Dear Superantispyware Team, As you can see from attachment our software is flagged as unwanted software. Can you review and advise? Please note that we had the same issue with other vendors like Malwarebytes and it was removed after explaining that our software does not serve browsers toolbars anymore, and instead we optionally provide a Chrome toolbar already approved by Google/Chrome. -Free edition V. 6.0.1204 was being used, with DB version 12022. Please pm me for any questions. Thanks in advance.
  4. On a scan I made yesterday, SuperAntiSpyware tagged these two false positives: Trojan.Agent/Gen-StartPage C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\IK MULTIMEDIA\CUSTOM SHOP\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\IK MULTIMEDIA\CUSTOM SHOP\UNINSTALL CUSTOM SHOP.LNK I can verify that these are associated with a legitimate company/application: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitubecs/
  5. hi- just ran SAS Free Edition "Quick Scan" today after doing an update. the result gave 3 "Critical Threats"--all tied to ComboFix files-- 1. "COMBOFIX.EXE" in myDesktop folder 2. "combofix.exe" in my "HKLM/Software\MicrosoftWindows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\" folder 3. "SHORTCUT TO COMBOFIX.LNK" in my Desktop\ANTIV folder i use WinXP Prof'l Edition w/ SvcPack3 I'm pretty sure the above are false positives, as I installed ComboFix on my PC a few years ago (although haven't run it for at least a year) * I've clicked on the "Report False Positive" button for each of the above 3 threats * will be curious to see if your SAS team confirms these 3 are indeed false positives? thanks!
  6. Hello Just updated the free version of SuperAntiSpyware and started a scan. It is still in progress, but it's currently detecting 3 files as Trojan.Agent/Gen-Buzus: C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)SPYBOT - SEARCH & DESTROY\PLUGINS\CHAI.DLL C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)SPYBOT - SEARCH & DESTROY\PLUGINS\FENNEL.DLL C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)SPYBOT - SEARCH & DESTROY\PLUGINS\MATE.DLL I looked at the files to see when they were last changed and the system says they have been there since 2008. It looks to me like this are probably a legitimate part of Spybot, does anyone know if this is SAS with a False Positive or if the threat is genuine? Thanks, will submit a false positive report once scan completes.
  7. Hello; Some of my users are reporting that SUPERAntiSpyare is blocking them from running my puzzles. I had a problem a while back with Malware Bytes reporting it, and when I had them take a close look they said it was indeed a false positive and fixed the issue. Now SUPERAntiSpyware is doing the same thing. Attached is a file from a CD-ROM burned in 2007 that your software reports as a Trojan.Agent/Gen-MulDrop. The thing is, Malware Bytes, AVG, Avast, Ad-aware, Bit Defender, Clam AV, Kaspersky, McAfee, etc. all report it as being clean. I would think if there was a problem on a file from 2007 they would have the virus, etc. in their databases by now. Note the file was created in 2005. Can you please look at this and let me know if there is indeed a problem? If not, please fix your definitions as my current (2014) puzzles are being reported the same way, yet are clean according to all these others. I'm using the forum as I tried using the built in tool in your software, but never heard back on it. Thank you very much. Wayne 0011-horseshoecrab-60pc.exe
  8. Hi there. New to the forums as you can tell. I just downloaded and used the Pro edition of your software for the first time today. After my first scan it picked up a Trojan.Agent/Gen-Chadem from one of the files associated with the program Driver Fusion. I am almost sure this is a false positive but i want to confirm first.
