Hi, SAS detected today systweakasp_c.exe as a PUP. This software has been lying in my PC for quite some time and has never been detected before. Also it is a software that has not been developed since 2015, so I don't think it is a threat. The file is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\CPUID\PC Wizard 2015 Checked virustotal and has 9 out of 64 detections. Could you please look into it and let me know if I should remove it? File is big to upload here, but let me know if you have another way, I may send it to you, if it is not dodgy.
SAS detects Trojan.Agent/Gen-FakeAlert in System Volume Information folder and although SAS claims to quarantine it, it still detects it again when the HD is rescanned. Even when the infected restore file is delete from quarantine and system protection is disabled and re-enabled and all restore points are deleted. The computer has no other symptoms of an infection other than this detection by SAS. How can I tell if the computer is infected or if it is a false positive? If it is infected why is SAS unable to remove it? Neither MS Security Essentials or Malwarebytes detect this virus.
Hey I think I was infected with a virus for a while, then I formated my computer and downloaded SuperAntiSpyware again, and at the beginning nothing happened. I transfered some important data from my other computer (Data that had been on my old-infected drive), scanned and nothing happened. So I went to sleep, and now today when I woke up it says I have a Trojan.Gromozon (RootKit). When I remove it, nothing happens, could you please let me know if its anything I should be worried about? Attached picture, thanks for your time.
