  1. Hi, I am running microsoft security essentials and I also have Superantispware (free) version on my pc. Since the free version of superantispyware has no realtime protection, is it compatable with MSE. Also when I run a scan with Superantispyware, should I disable Microsoft Security Essentials until the scan is completed. I ask this because if I am running a scan with superantispyware and MSE is also running in real time, wouldn`t they conflict because they are both scanning the same files, and since they would be both running when I do my spyware scan would they not take up considerable resources on my machine. Please advise me, your advise in this matter would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
  2. Hi, I have windows Vista 64 bit and I am going to uninstall the 32 bit copy of SuperAntispayware software that I have. I have already downloaded the un-installer. My question is, can you please give me the step by step directions for installing the new 64 bit version. I don't want to make a mistake. Thank you, your help is well appreciated. amberdidi
  3. After my last post I did some research and found the solution so that windows would stop blocking SuperAntiSpware at startup or any other program in Vista. The reason windows is blocking it is because we are running the program as administrator. If you uncheck "run as administrator" and reboot your problem is solved and it starts up along with the rest of your programs and windows no longer blocks it. Regards
  4. Hi, Thanks for replying to my post. I tried what you suggested and it doesn't work. Yes there is an option to allow it to run but that really doesn't solve the problem. I think what I should have done was to right click on the (setup file.exe) and clicked "Run as Administator" before I installed it. The maybe that would have worked don't you think? I would appreciate an answer to that suggestion. Thank you.
  5. Hi, I put a checkmark in the box " Start SuperAntiSpyware when windows starts" but when I start up my computer or reboot my computer, Windows blocks it from starting up and I have to click on it to allow it to run. Could you please tell me what I do so it starts up auto within windows interference. I have the free version. Thank you. Windows Vista Home Edition
  6. Hi, I am thinking about upgrading to SuperAntiSpyware Professional but I have two questions. Please answer them for me, it will be well appreciated. First: Do I uninstall the free version I have and install the Professioanal version fresh? Second: Since I have Vista 64-bit, should I wait until a version that supports 64-bit is ready. I don`t mind waitng becuase I have full intentions of upgrading even if you think I should wait. Thank you.
  7. Hi, Just to let you know that I have resolved my problem about updating version in Vista 64-bit. I read another post where the solution was given and I applied it and the program update was successful. Thank you.
  8. I have version 4.29.1002 of Superantispyware and I see that there is version 4.29.1004. Could you please tell me how I update to the new version as I have tried to do it without success. Thank you.
  9. Thank you, I did update my definitions and scanned again. The two mentioned never showed up in the second scan but I had already deleted them from Quarantine before I scaned the second time.
  10. Hi, You told me to post my log which I did and now I am still waiting for a reply from you. I am new at this so your answer would be so helpful and I appreciate you taking your own personal time to help. Thank you.

  12. Hi, I did a scan with Superantispware and it found (2) Adware.Vundo/Variant-MSFake. It removed I think because I clicked next and then rebooted. They are now in Quaratine. I am so new at this sorry. What do I do now. Do I remove permantely from quaratine? Are they removed from my system? I downloaded the newest updates before I ran a scan. Are they a Trojan? Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you. Microsoft Windows Vista-Home Premium (x64)
  13. Thank you for answering my post. As soon as the 64-bit version is ready I will certainly purchase it. In the meanwhile I have't set the version I have now to "Real Time Protection" because I feared it would not work properly with 64-bit. Should I go ahead and set it "ON"? Your advise would be appreciated. Again thank you.
