  1. Definitions are up to date. This trojan is present in this same file each time I scan and I have scanned MULTIPLE times. To explain a little - this file is present on an external hard drive. The external hard drive contains file I recovered from a laptop of mine that had crashed. I used a program to read the crashed hard drive and recover all files. Unfortunately, while my files were still present it will take me weeks to completely sort through all of the files and save what I need elsewhere and then be able to delete the system files that are now unneeded and reformat the drive. For this reason, reformatting is not an option at this point. IF it is the only option, then I need to stop further damage to system (even if it means unplugging the external terabyte) until I can purchase another terabyte on payday to transfer all files (except infected file - obviously). I have quarantined the trojan each time I scan but I don't know enough about it to know if it is still causing harm or not. Let me know if you need any more information on whats going on. I do know that this trojan was passed through the network setup in our house as it infected my husbands computer first, but we did not know what was going on. I don't know if there is anything else we need to do based on that fact to make sure it doesn't keep infecting our computers at home. Here is the latest scan file and a screen shot of the error when I try to delete the file: It says I do not have permission to access that file not that it is in use.
