  1. Thanks for your reply.... I don't have the knowledge to identify what the detected items were, and your suggestion makes sense......a couple of weeks ago I picked up "something" that I did eventually get rid of. They do not show up again after a rescan and having the items in quarentine does not seem to have affected my computer in any way. best, Mike
  2. Any help on this.........one of the things that make programs useful is a little help from the gallery or the moderators either way..... yes we can help, no...... never seen anything like this before. If there is no reply I'll have to assume that the items quarantined are really legit but unnecessary for the system to run and I.D.'ed just to get someone to buy the product, like some other vendors do. sincerely, Mike
  3. actually I ran 2 scans and in between did a little searching in my registry. just noticed that the 1st and 2nd scans were different. 4. Installed and ran SAS on the recommendation of a friend....and it found the following. I did find some hints in the registry, but couldn't really link it to anything........and google wasn't any help. Any idea what the 2 objects found, obviously related, might be, and what my best course of action should be. I did reboot with system restore off, and the items have been removed and are "in quarentine", .........reactivated system restore and I get a clean scan.
