I've been VERY happy with SAS's program. It's kept me going for a while now. It catches everything...thank you!
However, something has gone a bit amiss lately and I just can't figure out how to fix it. It seems that my computer has been, sadly, infected with some sort of Trojan. SAS is the only program that catches it (Antivirus is Avira; I have also scanned with Malwarebytes). It says it's a fake svchost.exe, puts it in quarantine, and I think everything is fine. But within minutes of being back online, my CPU usage shoots back up to 100%, things slow down horrifically, I am getting constantly kicked offline....and when I check the Task Manager, there's "svchost.exe" again, using around 95-99% CPU.
Is there anything I can do to definitavely get rid of this horrid little thing?
SAS says it's:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\explorer.exe#Debugger["c:Windows\system32\uiakbacq.old"]
I don't know what other info you might need. I use a PC with Windows XP, if that helps.
