  1. Did you clear your cache or temp files or run another application that did?
  2. When SAS detects a file as bad, it adds it to the persistent file removal system. We now added a way to manage while files are included in the "persistent file removal" system.

  15. Cyberchief, I am attempting to help you. I absolutely read your previous post about the problem. Definition updates should not and do not take 8 hours for other users. Without a support ticket and a diagnostic of your system I won't be able to figure out what is going wrong on your machine. I'm genuinely sorry you don't feel like our definition updates are as frequent. We release ~4 updates a day. If you're interested in help you can have the support ticket say whatever you would like it to, but being more concise is useful. Don Fowler
  16. Is there any way you can get me a screen shot of the prompt? This will help tremendously in determining the problem.
  17. I am going to assume that you are talking about a scheduled scan. If so, there is an option on the scheduled scan to "quarantine and remove infected files without prompting". Please verify that this is checked.
  18. If you do not ignore files larger than 4MB, you scan could be much slower depending on the type of files you have on your computer. The vast majority of malware is contained in files smaller than 4MB. However, it won't hurt for you to try scanning with it unchecked. Non-executable file are files that cannot be run on your machine. For example, pictures, document, ... Again, the vast majority of malware is contained in files that are executable. Thanks Don Fowler
  19. Have you allowed the program to update the components it says are new? If not, please allow the application to update.

  21. ga1ba2, Please download and install the current version of SUPERAntiSpyware( 5.6.0.1042 ). I have verified the fix included in that build with other customers. If you still have a problem, please post back on this thread. It will be addressed. Thanks Don Fowler
