2. Win XP Pro SP3 fully patched. SAS Free Edition 4.26.1002 with Core 3872 and Trace 1820 SAS flagging C:\Windows\JESTERTB.DLL as Adware.SeekSuggest. Have sumitted to Virus Total and come back clean 0/40. Used the 'report false positive function' of SAS but no idea if it did indeed 'report'. Include log of scan etc. SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log https://www.superantispyware.com Generated 04/30/2009 at 11:00 AM Application Version : 4.26.1002 Core Rules Database Version : 3872 Trace Rules Database Version: 1820 Scan type : Quick Scan Total Scan Time : 00:24:13 Memory items scanned : 433 Memory threats detected : 0 Registry items scanned : 437 Registry threats detected : 0 File items scanned : 10659 File threats detected : 1 Adware.SeekSuggest C:\WINDOWS\JESTERTB.DLL Virus Total: -
3. Much obliged. All done and dusted with no problems to speak of (Free Edition). Good on ya!
4. SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition: Just to let people know. I always do a clean uninstall of previous version before installing the new version (both offline). When uninstalling previous version SAS attempts to phone home so I activated my dsl connection and got a page asking me why I wanted to uninstall my version of SAS. Before I activated my dsl connection I got the SASDIFSV service error. After activating the dsl connection and ticking the box that I was just updating, error did not reappear and uninstall carried on. I then installed latest version with no problems. Having searched on the forum re: SASDIFSV Service I got four results, giving different reasons for this error, I include mine to show that another reason is showing. Forgot to add: XP-Pro SP3 using Firefox 3.0.4
