  1. With SUPERAntiSpyware there is typically no advantage of scanning in Safe Mode - unless you can't get your computer to start at all.

  4. It uses no resources, nor does anything to slow the system - it does help remove stubborn infections, so disabling it may chage the ability of SUPERAntiSpyware to remove certain threats.

  6. It's a winlogon handler, it does't run then quit, the DLL is simply loaded by WINLOGON at startup. It does nothing if you don't have first chance prevention enabled.

  15. Please use the built-in false positive reporting and it will send us the file and other information so we can see why it's being detected and correct the issue.
  16. Aren't they supposed to download at the same time? They always did in the past. As I said, the "Trace" downloaded first and when I went back to the "Check for Updates," the "Core" downloaded. Thank you. It's hard to know what you experienced. There could have been an Internet issue at the time one was downloading, hard to tell. If it happens more than once, let us know.
  17. Try unchecking the DDA (Direct Disk Access) under the Scanning Control Preferences of SUPERAntiSpyware
  18. We may have had additional updates of just one of the items.
  19. We don't yet support Firefox 3, but will soon with the plugin.
  20. The free edition can't block items - you have a support ticket open as well, please either get help here or on our support system, but not both as it makes is do double the work.....
  21. David - thank you for your suggestion. We have had this request before, but many companies and private citizens DON'T want them detected because of the legit use i.e. to monitor children, etc. It's something we have considered often.
  22. That has nothing to do with SUPERAntiSpyware.
