  1. Your response is appreciated - I submitted a ticket as requested by you. I took the 10 files from the allowed/trusted items, then re-scanned them again with SAS after first updating the database. It would appear in database version 11529 the files are now fine and no longer detected as a virus, unlike database version 11528! Furthermore a new Virus Total scan shows your engine now finds the files safe...
  2. I posted earlier and you replied to the last post that the rule was disabled database verion 11527, Yet after another update the same 10 FPS are being identified again in database version 11528! Truly this is becoming too regular an occurence and is very annoying! Once again I sent the files to your team. I don't have the time for this. All these files are clear with over 50 other search engines in Virus Total. Please sort this out properly.. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log https://www.superantispyware.com Generated 09/29/2014 at 04:05 AM Application Version : 6.0.1146 Database Version : 11528 Scan type : Complete Scan Total Scan Time : 00:14:38 Operating System Information Windows 8.1 64-bit (Build 6.03.9200) UAC On - Limited User Memory items scanned : 940 Memory threats detected : 0 Registry items scanned : 67356 Registry threats detected : 0 File items scanned : 46233 File threats detected : 10 Trojan.Agent/Gen-StartPage C:\PROGRAM FILES\PHOTOSCISSORS\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\ABYLONSOFT\EXIF-CLEANER\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\FOCUSKY\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\SCANITTO PRO\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\SUPEREZ WAVE EDITOR\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\ABYLONSOFT\ABYLON EXIF-CLEANER\UNINSTALL ABYLON EXIF-CLEANER.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\FOCUSKY\UNINSTALL FOCUSKY.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\PHOTOSCISSORS\UNINSTALL PHOTOSCISSORS.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\SCANITTO PRO\UNINSTALL SCANITTO PRO.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\SUPEREZ WAVE EDITOR\UNINSTALL.LNK ============ End of Log ============
  3. I am becoming increasingly concerned with the number of very recent FP some of which I posted earlier - Here are more that were clear in Virus Total with all others but yourself. I added them to my safe list and did send report to the team:- SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log https://www.superantispyware.com Generated 09/27/2014 at 04:28 AM Application Version : 6.0.1146 Database Version : 11526 Scan type : Complete Scan Total Scan Time : 00:15:16 Operating System Information Windows 8.1 64-bit (Build 6.03.9200) UAC On - Limited User Memory items scanned : 867 Memory threats detected : 0 Registry items scanned : 67342 Registry threats detected : 0 File items scanned : 46017 File threats detected : 10 Trojan.Agent/Gen-StartPage C:\PROGRAM FILES\PHOTOSCISSORS\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\ABYLONSOFT\EXIF-CLEANER\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\FOCUSKY\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\SCANITTO PRO\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\SUPEREZ WAVE EDITOR\UNINS000.EXE C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\ABYLONSOFT\ABYLON EXIF-CLEANER\UNINSTALL ABYLON EXIF-CLEANER.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\FOCUSKY\UNINSTALL FOCUSKY.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\PHOTOSCISSORS\UNINSTALL PHOTOSCISSORS.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\SCANITTO PRO\UNINSTALL SCANITTO PRO.LNK C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\SUPEREZ WAVE EDITOR\UNINSTALL.LNK ============
  4. I totally agree with you - I posted a detailed log today in this forum of all programs that I know have been fine for a long time yet since last night are reported as threats by SAS. It would be nice if the team can confirm that they are aware of the issue and will resolve it in a future update. This is the first major problem I have had with SAS which I have used for years - Howie:)
  5. I posted earlier today in this forum in detail a similar issue! Clearly there is something with the last update virus definitions causing this. Hopefully one of the SAS team will either respond to your post or mine to confirm FP and to resolve the issue in a future update. - Howie:)
  6. Please excuse my typing error - It should be:- I use SuperAntiSpyware LIFETIME Professional Subscription - All replies appreciated:)
  7. Hi there:) I use Superantispware(liftime) on a daily basis. Last nights definitions identified many known and trusted files, as either Adware.AddLyrics/Variant, or PUP.BProtector/Variant. I must emphasise that these files have been scanned for months with SAS and also a number of other established virus checkers and antispyware programs, including Malware AntimalwareByytes, Emsisoft, Avast and Eset online scanner. As an additional measure last night I sent a number of these files to VirusTotal for multi engine scanning and all showed clean! I must further emphasise that the box "Scan for frequently unwanted programs," was unchecked before the complete scan. I looked to see if there was any option to disable pup, or unwanted program detection, but found none other then that box. Here is a list of the programs it found (see below). I have sent you both the quick scan and the complete log file. I whitelisted all. Surely there should be an option to prevent this happening? The problem has only arisen for the first time after installing the latest SAS definitions:- ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log https://www.superantispyware.com Generated 09/14/2014 at 03:04 AM Application Version : 6.0.1130 Database Version : 11502 Scan type : Quick Scan Total Scan Time : 00:02:54 Operating System Information Windows 8.1 64-bit (Build 6.03.9200) UAC On - 8. Hi there:) I think this is probably a false positive. I am using the latest SuperAntispyware definitions (Core 8088 Trace 5900). I checked this file both with VirusTotal and VirScan. Only SAS is finding a problem out of about 40+ virus checkers - Trojan.Agent/Gen-FraudPack C:\SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION\_RESTORE{14BDDDA0-50CE-4D6F-9282- 6A0FAE5D62A8}\RP31\A0013695.EXE
