  1. I am getting an SAS Real-Time Protection Blocked Item Alert at each boot up which says as follows:-

    Trogan.Agent/CDesc[Generic].Process

    C:\PROGRAMFILES\UNLOCKER\UNLOCKERDRIVER5.SYS

Please will you check this out to see if it is a false positive. If not please can you advise on my next move.

    Best regards

    Roy

    Dear Roy,

In order to check if this is a false positive, I need to know if you have "Unlocker" installed on your computer.

  2. I run CCW Technology Computer Repair in Salt Lake City, Utah.

CCW Technology Computer Repair has been a reseller for SuperAntiSpyware for about a year now. Can you tell me (and everyone else) what's the new business plan for SuperAntiSpyware?

My customers LOVE your product. My virus removal customers are very happy to know they are better protected using SAS.

    Regards,

    Allen

  3. as the description says, you should show more activity on your forums SAS, I have posted quite a few things, and seen others post things, but have not seen a peep from any of your employees on here since joining, you should have employees dedicated to checking the forums, or create a facebook page like I suggested before, it would help alot in helping in-experienced users get support!

    Dear ezekial52787,

I think that's a great suggestion! I'm not an employee myself but if there were more employees browsing the forms, I think it would be much better. Try contacting SUPERAntiSpyware about this at https://www.superantispyware.com/contact.html.

  4. Just a minor problem, after the most recent update 5.0.1128 I no longer can see the new definitions after updating while in my normal user account. They do update, I just can't see the list. Also the buttons for help and more information button under the data version heading don't work. They work ok if I right click and run SAS as administrator. Before this newest update, I had no problems running in my normal user account, I could update and see the new defs, and the buttons worked to access the SAS site. Now it seems that I'll have to log on as administrator? Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm running Vista 32 with all the ms updates installed. When I was running the '4' version I did have to log on as administrator, but when the new '5' version was first installed, everything worked fine, no matter what account I was in. Is this the norm? Thanks in advance for any info.

    Dear rd52,

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered this problem! To view update information online, you can visit https://www.superantispyware.com/definitions.html. When version 5.0.1128 was released, they must've changed around some of the "settings" which required you to have to be on an admin account to view the defs. Let me know if this helps!

  5. Just reinstalled Win 7 from 32 to 64 bit and set the only scan (full) for Thursdays at 2pm. But a full scan just started at 12am Thursday morning. What might be going on?

Before posting this, I did a search on this forum for "Windows 7 64 bit" and got the error message that there either weren't enough characters or I used disallowed characters. What's with that? Thanks,

    Dear genegold,

Sounds like an interesting problem you've got here! Here are some solutions that I think might help:

    1) Restart your computer and then change your Schedule settings to the way you want them.

    2) Un-Install SUPERAntiSpyware then Restart Your Computer. Then Re-Installer SUPERAntiSpyware from https://www.superantispyware.com/index.html.

    3) If none of these suggestions work, try contacting the SUPERAntiSpyware Support Team at https://www.superantispyware.com/contact.html.
