  1. Hi, I would like to be able to add a scheduled scan by day of the month. Example: I currently use Scheduled Scan to run a weekly quick scan. I would also like to be able to add a scheduled scan to run a complete scan on the 1st of the month. Thanks, CharlesEF
  2. Hi, Ok, I have submitted a CSR. Thanks for the help, CharlesEF
  3. Hi, I'm running the current version of SAS Pro, v4.35.1002 and my CPU is a Pentium 4 1.8GHz, socket 478, with 1.5Gig of RAM. One more thing I noticed today. Getright (my download manager) was downloading a file when the SAS update kicked in. No other programs were open at the time. The download did slow down but did not stop. As a test I paused the Getright download, clicked on the Start menu, then clicked on the game Freecell. The Start menu remained open and the cursor turned to an hourglass and stayed that way until the SAS update was done. Then the Start menu closed and Freecell started. This is what happens to me even if Getright is not downloading any files. People using broadband connections might not even see this happen because the SAS update download would be super fast, compared to my dial-up speed. Thanks for the reply, CharlesEF
  4. Hi All, I have noticed a strange problem on my computer that I tracked down to SAS Auto updates. I have the 8-hour option checked and whenever this update takes place my computer does not respond correctly. I will try to explain as best I can. Since SAS makes no mention of performing the update in the background it took me awhile to figure out it was a SAS problem (maybe not right word). I use WinXP Pro SP3 and I connect to the internet using dial-up access. If I happen to be connected to the internet when SAS starts the auto update process this is what happens to me. 1. If I'm using Firefox v3.6.3 when the update starts I find that I can not open any new links, until SAS is finished. 2. If I try to load another program I find I get an hourglass only, until the auto update is finished. After SAS is finished the program loads. Does SAS work this way? Or am I doing something or have some SAS setting wrong? Thanks for any help, CharlesEF
