SAS worked for a while, but hangs and downloads slow

Hello,

I have uses SAS for a few years, and have liked it.  It mostly has found cookies, but I continue to use it.  I have tried to download the latest version several time, and it SLOWLY counts to 100% (It didn't used to do that.).  When I run the checker, it finds about 965 issues, and then hangs.  I can't stop the scan, and it I try, "Not Responding" is displayed in the window. 

 

Is uninstalling and reinstalling the best option?  Is there a setting that now needs to be set?

Thank you for contacting us.

1) Open SUPERAntiSpyware
2) Click "System Tools"
3) click Advanced Scan Settings
4) Unchecked "Follow shortcuts (*lnk) during scan
5) Click 'OK' on the bottom right.
