Hi, I'm a real newbie here and I hope you can help:

I came up with some bugs and upon running superantispyware, I was given the following critical threat after the scan (in the registry):

Malware.Trace
HKU\S-1-5-21-4189757825-2250240778-789212680-1000\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\WINLOGON#SHELL

I should mention that I could only run the computer in Safe mode with networking. Well, I took the steps to remove the threat as directed by superantispyware and now when I try to load the computer regularly, it won't start at all. I can still load the computer in safe mode and my files seem intact.

What should I do? I should mention that this is a netbook running windows 7 starter.

Thanks for your help!

Hi oldswirlo ,

When you boot up the netbook is there an option to select repair ?

Maybe in the F8 options Or F5.

Using No Way - As Way, Having No Limitation - As Limitation.

Please create a support ticket so we can issue a diagnostic, you will be able to run it in safe mode with networking.
