  1. Just to update, SAS customer service told me to trust the items, as they were false positives and I did so and everything is fine now. Thanks, Cnon
  2. Thanks for the info, but the report false positives button is grayed out Even with the items checked. And I had the latest definitions before my latest scan. Cnon
  3. Dear All, I'm using SAS 5.0 pre-release and I think I have some false positives. 4. Then how come other apps can have them like anti-viruses? Cnon
  5. Dear All, A suggestion for the next version of Superantispyware is to have a progress bar. Cnon
  6. Program updates will be checked for on startup, not definition updates. So if I pay for the program, the defs would be checked for every eight hours, yes. Cnon Yes, that is correct and they will be auto-downloaded and applied. Thanks Cnon
  7. Program updates will be checked for on startup, not definition updates. So if I pay for the program, the defs would be checked for every eight hours, yes. Cnon
  8. Dear All, I have a Superantispyware question about the free version 4.0 The problem I have is I had it set to auto check for updates on application startup and it won't. Are the auto updates, even the ones on application startup, not the every eight hours ones, for the paid version only? I could have sworn that the ones on application startup, were available in the free version. Is this true? Cnon
  9. 1)If your using the *check for updates* in the main GUI of the software interface(bottom left tab) then this will check only for definitions updates. 2)If you use the *check for updates* via right click on the SAS Bug icon in the system tray then this will check for both definitions& software updates IME todate.(ssupdate.exe is launched from folder and utilized for this broader task). Just to add in the past some folks have experienced problems with the bug icon updater because their resident software firewall defaultly block ssupdate.exe from contacting outbound from and the software will return a *no updates* available after the session has timed out for the software.Unfortunetly this is not the fault of SAS but the firewalls default configuration& Operation HTH and maybe Nick can correct me if i'm wrong(won't be a first ) That worked, thanks. Cnon
  10. All users can get updates. We have not released our 4.0 version yet, so if you have the 3.9 version, you have the most current version. So I just have to re download it from your website, yes? I have the 3.6 version lol. Update: I downloaded the update; I have now installed the update. I thought it would come though the check update feature? Or, is that only for paid subscribers? Cnon
  11. Dear All, Are the program updates only for paid subscribers? I'm using the free version of SAS and I only get definitions. Thanks, Cnon
