  1. Both files are detected as PUP.InstallCore/Variant. They are both windows media player add-ons. I have used SAS inbuilt function to report them, too. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/0427d92a2dd05aa3bb0bd0d6e7611e2ed1e2454dedb7f15c8556705f3cfc4ea3/analysis/1489581960/ https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/f9fa370e0b9b95442544fe485bed37a9538fb85c1938ec6c5f1422087aead35b/analysis/1489582144/
  2. oem.exe false positive

Brilliant! It is OK now. Thank you very much.
  3. oem.exe false positive

There is this file oem.exe located at C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Kingsoft\WPS Office\10.1.0.5552\office6\cfgs\oeminfo that SAS detects as trojan. However, I believe it to be false positive as it comes together with WPS Office which I have downloaded and installed from their original site. In virus total only SAS detects it as malware: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/5c265b933456ab42d327cba8f8f180c81521baeb008569e335740fdec7457c94/analysis/1461065930/ Please, look into it. Thanks a lot.
  4. I updated SAS but unfortunatelly the issue was not resolved. In virustotal only SAS identifies it as trojan: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/f597c85e9a1b900b7aed5ef3cff168a9806621722ebaa334dbd5bc52279e2ae7/analysis/1424716719/ EDIT: Sorry, just got confused with the time difference. Probably the database hasn't been updated yet. UPDATE: Issue Resolved. Thank you very much.
  5. Hi. I'd like to report 2 false positives. Submux.exe and submux.lnk are part of gabest vobsub and are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Gabest\Vobsub\submux.exe and in C:\ProgramData\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\vobsub\submux.lnk Please update the virus definitions.Thank you
  6. PVD (Personal Video Database) software plugins amazon.dll, amazonde.dll, amazonfr.dll, amazonuk.dll detected as trojans by SAS. Virus total shows only SAS result as bad and the other 54 AV say it's safe. Please update the definitions. Thank you. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/4cf9c3713dfd18941793062f01d23d003909db6b54330aa6726c947ac951afb8/analysis/1416939663/
  7. Firefox 7.0.1 and SAS 5.0.1134

I have both FF and SAS, same versions as yours, for quite sometime now, running together with no problems. It may be a problem with a firefox's add-on. Do you, by any chance, have mcafee siteadvisor add-on installed? This may be a reason, as siteadvisor is having some issues with firefox 7. So it might also contradict with other security software. You can try running firefox in safe mode and see how that goes. Go to Help in firefox and choose "restart with add-ons disabled". If you face no problems, then try to find out which add-on is causing the problem by disabling them one by one. You can also clear firefox's cache and/or history which sometimes resolves issues with crashing. Hope that helps.
  8. I have recently installed on my computer a firefox add-on called privacychoice trackerblock. One of its functions is to add opt-out cookies for certain websites that may be messing with one's privacy. Superantispyware detects those cookies as tracking cookies. I follow the procedure and delete them and the privacychoice adds them back. How can I avoid this and is there a reason to worry over those opt-out cookies? Thanks.
